Nadia Sadeghi, DPM
Dr. Nadia Sadeghi obtained her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. She then completed extensive surgical training with concentration on forefoot, reconstructive rearfoot, and ankle surgery at Humboldt Park Health, in Chicago. She has also completed a fellowship training in dermatopathology. Dr. Sadeghi is committed to providing patient focused care through patient education. She is determined to utilize evidence-based medicine and cutting edge medical technology to provide the best possible care, both conservatively and with surgical intervention. Her areas of interest include sports medicine, pediatrics, and preventative care.
Dr. Sadeghi is fluent in English, Farsi, Kurdish, and Turkish. She's been to all 50 states. But she is happy to call her favorite city, Chicago, home.
With an extensive athletic background in advanced gymnastics and soccer, in her free time, Dr. Sadeghi enjoys time spent with her family and staying active.
Brendon J. McCarthy, DPM
Dr. McCarthy is a board-certified podiatric physician with over two decades of experience helping patients get back on their feet. He earned his degree from the prestigious Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. His advanced training includes residency at Cook County Hospital—one of the nation’s busiest level-one trauma centers—followed by specialized podiatric training within the OSF Hospital System in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois.
In 2001, Dr. McCarthy founded Fox Valley Foot Specialists to provide high-quality, compassionate care to families throughout Naperville and the surrounding suburbs. A proud resident of Naperville for more than 26 years, Dr. McCarthy is deeply connected to the community he serves—both personally and professionally.
Dr. McCarthy is passionate about educating the next generation of podiatric professionals. For over 15 years, he has mentored young physicians through clinical teaching at Norwegian American Hospital / Humboldt Park Health Systems, helping shape the future of foot and ankle care.
While experienced in all aspects of podiatry, Dr. McCarthy is especially focused on non-surgical treatment options whenever possible, offering effective, personalized care for a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. His patient-first approach has earned him one of the highest Zocdoc ratings in the area—and the trust of thousands of satisfied patients.

Mark Konieczny, DPM
Mark Konieczny, DPM is a board certified podiatric physician and surgeon with nearly four decades of experience.
Dr. Konieczny received his medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL, graduating with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1982. He continued his training with a fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Leonard Winston, in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Konieczny is board certified with The American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery (ABLES)
Riya Vyas, DPM
Dr. Vyas joins our Lincoln Park and Naperville teams with a background in both surgical and conservative podiatric care. She brings experience in treating foot and ankle pathologies, performing minimally invasive procedures, and managing complex cases for all ages. Whether it’s advanced forefoot and rearfoot surgical reconstruction or non‑surgical therapies, Dr. Vyas is committed to helping each patient return to an active, pain‑free lifestyle.
A lifelong Midwesterner at heart, Dr. Vyas graduated with her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, and completed her surgical residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH. She’s excited to be back in the Chicago area and to serve our communities in Lincoln Park and Naperville.
Dr. Vyas is fluent in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Spanish. When she’s not in clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Vyas on the pickleball court, on hiking trails, or exploring new restaurants in Chicago with her husband and family.
